Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour follows the pair as they follow in the footsteps of 19th century romantic poet Lord Byron and other Grand Tourists, immersing themselves in the ‘art, culture, bad behaviour and life-changing exploits of historic Brits abroad’.
Ahead of its premiere, Rob, 43, shared a photo of them together in Italy with the Lord Byron quote: ‘Friendship may, and often does, grow into love’.
However, after speculation the pair may now be dating, Rob confirmed on the Baftas red carpet on Sunday night they were not a couple.
But Rylan revealed someone turned up at his mother’s home today trying to ask more questions.
‘To the journalist that just doorstepped my mum at her house, as polite as you were, please don’t. She said you was a lovely man but she’s 71 years old and it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable,’ he posted on X on Monday.
‘The answer is no. I’m not dating Rob Rinder he’s one of my closest mates.
‘Next time tweet me. Thanks.’
Speaking to the Daily Mail on Sunday, Rob shared: ‘We aren’t a couple. It is what Rylan said, we are like a very old married couple, we row, laugh together and don’t have sex.’
In the series, Rylan and Rob, who share the same divorce lawyer, travel to Venice, Florence and Rome.
On the show, Rylan shared that after both being through ‘painful divorces’ recently, they were each ready for the ‘next chapter’.
‘We’ve both been through painful divorces recently and are ready for the next chapter,’ says Rylan, who rose to fame on the X Factor and has since become a popular TV and radio presenter.
Rylan was previously married to Dan Neal, with the couple splitting in 2021 after six years, while Rob split from his partner, barrister Seth Cumming, in 2018.
Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour is streaming on BBC iPlayer.

Rumours of a shock romance between Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Towie’s James Argent have inspired the Love Island star’s own Wagatha Christie investigation.
The pair were said to have grown much closer after James consoled her following the intense backlash she received on social media after her Big Brother exit.
But now a firm denial has come from the PR team that looks after both stars, while James and Ekin-Su insist they’re both still single.
Their team are calling out a friend who’s ‘selling [Ekin-Su and James] out’ for ‘a quick buck’.
A source had previously claimed the pair were ‘practically neighbours’ and that they’d ‘passionately kissed’ after spending more time together.
But the information about a blossoming romance appears to be false, and those who represent the pair are putting their heads together to root out the source of the leaks.
A source told Metro.co.uk: ‘The team are channelling their inner Wagatha Christie and trying to find out who is selling out on Ekin-Su. And they’re pretty sure they know who it is.
‘Ekin-Su and James are friends, and have had a little laugh to themselves about the story. They both remain single. A small number of people who were told about a drunken snog. Everybody is getting closer to the source of the leaks.’
They continued: ‘Sadly, the pair are no strangers to people trying to make a quick buck out of them, and it looks like this is another case of somebody trying to sell out on the pair.’
Shortly after the break-up, she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house alongside former X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, and eventual winner David Potts.
However, she was evicted to a crowd of boos and drew further controversy when she blamed the editors of the ITV reality series for her poor reception, adding that she was ‘hurt’ that she wasn’t portrayed as her true self.
Since leaving the house she’s kept a low profile and has reportedly spent a lot of that time getting to know James, who has been on a journey of his own in recent months.
The Towie star has also lost a staggering 14 stone in the last three years after getting gastric band surgery in 2021. The life-changing operation has seen him return to a healthy weight.

Halle Berry’s boyfriend, Van Hunt, sent fans into a spin as he celebrated Mother’s Day in style, by posting a very cheeky naked photo of the Hollywood icon.
The Catwoman actress, 57, made her romance with the musician, 54, public in 2020, and they have given us glimpses into their romance on social media ever since.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, which was Mother’s Day in the US, the Seconds of Pleasure singer took the opportunity to mark the day by uploading a very risqué snap.
She took a different route with her own Mother’s Day post, writing a heartfelt tribute to Van’s mom on her Instagram page.
Alongside a carousel of snaps, the Oscar-winner enthused: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the glorious mothers of the world and especially my beautiful mother-in-law, DJ!
‘You’ve come into our lives and brought the sunshine with you. I so admire the way you love with such grace and style! When you shower us with your pearls, we are instantly made better! We love you so very much.’
Followers went wild over her use of the term ‘mother in law’, but the couple are not thought to be married.
Halle and Van went public with their relationship in September, 2020, but had reportedly been dating for ‘several months’ before this.
In 2021, she revealed that they held a ‘commitment ceremony’ which was overseen by her son – who suggested they should tie the knot.
During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, she clarified: ‘This was a ceremony by an 8-year-old in the back seat of the car who said, “Mom, you should get married to him.”
‘I said, “Really, I should marry to him?” He said, “Yeah, I pronounce you man and wife.” So we’re like, “Oh, okay. We’re married!” But we’re not married.
‘What I love about it is, when you blend families, it’s really hard. So the good news is, my kids are comfortable and that’s all that matters. If they ain’t happy, we ain’t happy. That’s all you need. You just need them to be happy.’
If only all weddings were that simple!

Peter Andre has opened up on his mental health struggles and a breakdown which he says lasted almost two decades.
The singer, 51, said his mental health began to suffer when he reached global fame in the 1990s and he only ‘truly started to come through it’ in his 40s.
The reality TV star and father of five said he then suffered another setback in his recovery after his beloved brother Andrew died from a brain tumour in 2012.
‘It really does feel important to talk about it. I had a breakdown when I shot to fame in the 90s, and back then, it was a very taboo subject to talk about – people would just think you’re “cuckoo”…,’ he said.
Marking Mental Health Awareness Week this week, he continued in his column for new! magazine: ‘My breakdown lasted a long time. It was only when I got to my forties that I truly started to come through it. I think I was lost – I was getting better, then my brother Andrew passed away and that triggered a lot of things – but the best thing is, there’s a lot of help out there now.
‘I think it’s really important to celebrate mental health, and no matter whether you’re cured or not cured, it’s important to remember that it can reappear any time, but there are so many support options out there.’
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker – who has Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with first wife Katie Price and Amelia, 10, Theo, six, and six-week-old Arabella with spouse Emily – is thankful people are more open about the subject these days.
‘I’m so proud that we’re in a time where for all the other things that are going wrong in our world, one of the things that’s going right is that people are able to talk and bring things to the forefront, some even using social media as a way to express themselves,’ he added.
Peter previously opened up about his anxiety struggles, when he revealed that he was hospitalised for his issues.
Speaking on The Ray D’Arcy Show, he said: ‘When you talk to people now, and you talk about anxiety, and you talk about breakdowns, and things like that, some people look at it like a weakness. Some people look at it like a taboo – but the truth is, it’s so real.
‘So many people are going through it. I went through it for years. It was a moment, it was in 1998.’
He went on to explain how he was suffering from panic attacks as his career grew from strength to strength, and that he hid the fact from his parents.
‘I was at the top of everything and all of a sudden it just hit me like a tonne of bricks. I couldn’t function. I couldn’t think straight. I was having panic attacks. I ended up in all sorts of hospitals, on medication, different therapists,’ he said.
‘My parents didn’t know anything, I didn’t want them to know anything because they’re worriers. I got through it. It took me 10 years. I remember praying and saying, “Please, if I get another chance, if I can get through this period I will never take it for granted.”
‘So when I did get through it and things came back and I got to do all these wonderful things, I don’t take it for granted.’

If you think you saw Hollywood icon Jason Momoa enjoying a stroll in the West Midlands, it might actually have been Wolverhampton postman Ian Wills just trying to enjoy his day.
The 52-year-old says he is regularly stopped and asked for selfies and autographs when out and about after being mistaken for the Aquaman actor, with some even wanting to stroke his hair.
Ian said he even stunned Jason himself when he caught sight of him at LondonComic Con in 2019, with the Hollywood heartthrob apparently stopping, tilting his head and exclaiming ‘woah’ – declaring he ‘could be my stunt double’.
’I do get mistaken for Jason Momoa in the street a lot – in the most bizarre of places,’ he said.
’90% of people who stop me in the street are women. Shopping in Primark, some people will follow you around. My wife will look at me and go “Oh God we’ve got another one”.’
He went on to say that his wife, 44-year-old NHS worker Claire Edwards-Wills, doesn’t like it when women want to touch his hair and that he has brought her along to shows with his Deep Purple tribute act as ‘backup’.
Claire says that women in some parts of the country are worse than others and claims she has to attend gigs in Wales with him as ‘back-up’ due to the ‘lechy and touchy-feely’ Welsh women.
‘It’s just part and parcel of things now. It can be strange at times because if we go to get some shopping he’ll get stopped,’ she said.
‘We’ve had people shouting across the supermarket in Aldi and Tesco going “oh my God look who he looks like” so it can be a bit embarrassing. He gets it quite a lot.
’Sometimes I just leave him to it and I carry on doing the weekly shop. It’s happened in other shops too, he’s not going to be in Primark in Dudley is he?
’I don’t like people touching him. It’s happened when we’ve been on a night out, we’ve gone to a gig, and people say “Oh you look like him, can I have a photo?” and I’m like “It’s our night out”.’
‘Sometimes I wish people wouldn’t do that but I understand. For me he’s my husband, he’s just a normal guy. If he was famous maybe I’d get it a bit more but he’s not.’
One of Ian’s friends also works as a lookalike and suggested he could make money as the Dune star’s doppelganger prompting him to sign up with a lookalike agency in 2020 just before Covid hit.
Such is his dedication to convincing folk he’s the real deal, the dad-of-three even went under the needle and had the star’s iconic shark teeth inked onto his left arm.
Ian said it was his aunt who first noticed the similarity to the Baywatch actor seven years ago when she watched Stargate Atlantis.
After catching an episode on TV and spotting how similar they looked, Ian joked his parents ‘weren’t telling him something’.
‘Just after that I was doing gigs around the country and people started talking to me in the street saying “You look like Jason Momoa” and making comments at gigs saying I looked like Aquaman,’ he recalled.
The couple went to Comic Con in London in 2019 so Ian could get a snap with his famous lookalike, duping many fans who flocked around him demanding selfies and autographs.

‘When I met him [in passing] he just looked at me, stopped, tilted his head and went “woah”,’ he said of meeting Jason Momoa at the event.
‘When I saw him 20 minutes later to get an autograph he said “Man you could be my stunt double”. I said “Yes please”.’
After getting this response from the Game of Thrones actor as well as fans, Ian decided to take the plunge, sign up to an agency and take bookings for sports events and birthday parties.
Fans can either book Ian as Jason Momoa or as action superhero Aquaman, where he’ll attend donning his £500 custom-made suit.
’I’ve been a musician since I was a young lad but when you’re playing on stage with a group of guys you feel protected by that,’ he said.
’When you do the lookalike work people are coming to see you because they think you look like someone else, it’s a bit of a bizarre feeling.
‘I can do the American accent. It can be tricky but he’s got a very interesting dialect and a deep voice, which is similar to mine.
‘He mumbles quite a lot so it’s quite easy to get, he talks quite quickly and deeply.
‘I did somebody’s 70th birthday last year, that was interesting and the lady absolutely adored it so that was pretty fun.
‘I did Birmingham Comic Con one year and within seconds I was getting mobbed by loads of kids, it’s a nice feeling.’

In an honest and frank interview, she revealed that she would often go through periods of not knowing what he was doing or who was looking after him, sometimes holding him at arm’s length when they were together.
‘I really was not a good parent for a very long time. For most of his first few months I couldn’t have told you what he was doing or even who was looking after him. When I did see him, I would hold him at arm’s length.’
She then revealed to MailOnline that fiancée Ryan had considered leaving her: ‘I’ve asked him if he thought about leaving me and he said yes. Ouch. That stung. But he also knew he never would go through with it.’
Ryan himself revealed: ‘I was struggling and thought a lot about a different life. But in the same way I never really believed you would take your own life, I never believed I would walk away.’
While Louise spoke out on her struggles with Leo in the first few months, she revealed that she struggled to speak and sing to both her baby and Ryan, explaining that their struggles were too difficult to put in her recently published memoir.
Last week, Louise also revealed that she lost three-and-a-half litres of blood during Leo’s traumatic birth, providing honest details about how her son came into the world.
During her agonising and lengthy labour, doctors realised Leo’s head was wedged in her pelvis, meaning the experts in the room had to act fast to save mum and baby.
Over the course of three hours, Louise lost almost four litres of blood and there were points, she’s now admitted, that she thought she was going to die.
She told MailOnline: ‘I genuinely believed every second that I was bleeding to death. I kept turning to Ryan and asking him whether I was still alive. I didn’t believe I could be.’
After noticing that the doctors and nurses were becoming distressed and concerned, Louise had the news confirmed to her that her womb had torn during labour, which caused the massive haemorrhage.
In the interview, the reality TV star claimed she had asked for a planned C-section after finding out she was pregnant but had been advised against it by hospital staff.
‘Everyone in the room looked very distressed, I could feel their shaky hands on my body. If they’d allowed me to have a planned c-section, things could have been very different.’

Reality TV star Kate has since admitted becoming parents has meant the couple have struggled to find time together, leading them to attend couple’s therapy.
In a new interview, she said it can be difficult to ‘keep the magic and passion alive’ when a child is thrown in the mix, but the couple are determined to work through it.
‘You talk things out and it helps you to see things from your partner’s point of view, and makes you think, “Well . . . actually maybe that was my fault”. It’s hugely beneficial,’ she told The Sun.
‘We made a commitment to each other and you work through it. When you’re a parent, you have to accept you’re not going to have the time — or the energy — to do things you did before your child came along.
‘Martin is more, “Come on, we haven’t had time for ourselves for ages, let’s get in the bedroom” than me. I take a bit of convincing.’
She went on to say that having a child is ‘the hardest thing you ever do’ and that in the months before Kate and Martin wed, they were in the ‘worst possible place for a couple’, describing Noa’s arrival as a ‘seismic shift’ in their relationship.
Kate previously spoke to the Dirty Mother Pukka podcast about the strain parenting had put on her relationship with Martin, saying she ‘broke down in tears’ in the run-up to their wedding when counselling was suggested.
‘I thought it was the start of the end of our relationship,’ she admitted. ‘But he said, “It’s because we are six months away from getting married and I want to start our marriage on the right foot. We are in such a bad place right now.”‘
Appearing on the In A Good Place podcast, she opened up on her life with generalised anxiety disorder and how she thought she’d ‘never be happy again.’
‘Considering where I was this time two years ago, yes,’ she said when asked if she was in a good place.
‘When Noa was a few months old and I was deep in the depths of postnatal depression, thinking I’d never be happy again, despite the fact that I loved her deeply.
‘Boj and I weren’t in a good place either, but everything’s turned around now.
‘Last year I was diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder and went back on meds, which I’m not ashamed to say.’
She went on to say she thinks it is important to be honest with fans about her mental health struggles to tackle the stigma surrounding them.
‘When you’re in the public eye, it’s dangerous not to be honest with the people who follow you online,’ Kate continued.
‘I’ve always been a very honest and open person; I’m an overshared. It’s like free therapy.’

Zoe Ball has returned to her BBC Radio 2 show following the death of her mum in April, just 12 weeks after she was diagnosed with cancer.
Signing on again this morning just after 6:30am, the 53-year-old brought her usual bubbly energy while also thanking presenter Gaby Roslin for covering her breakfast show slot in her absence.
‘Good morning gang! How are you all, you lovely sorts?’ she began as she spoke to listeners while kicking off her show.
‘First text in this morning, Lesley from Eastbourne said, “Morning Zoe, so good to have you back”.’
‘You’re saying that now Lesley, give me ten minutes [and] you might change your mind!’ she quipped.
Zoe then thanked her Early Breakfast Show colleague Owain Wyn Evans, adding: ‘Thank you so much to Owain – loved a bit of Tusk on the air drum anthem this morning. A boost in my bones that I needed, very much so.’
‘Thanks so much to Gabby for being here for you guys for the last few weeks – and for being here for me,’ she also commented.
‘I’m so grateful to you all for your amazing messages about my dear mum.’
On Thursday night she had paid emotional tribute to Julia alongside posting a collection of photos together from across the years.
‘Yesterday we said goodbye to our dear Mama, Granny J. It was the perfect day and she would have loved it,’ Zoe shared.
‘Forever in our hearts Mama, thank you for your magic & love. Missing you so much but holding tight to each other.’
The broadcaster continued: ‘Thank you to everyone who sent kind messages, cards & flowers. Big love to the many of you who have shared with us about your own loss and heartbreak, to those battling with cancer or looking after loved ones affected by cancer.
‘We wish you all the strength and love and of course the humour you need to keep going,’ she added, admitting that ‘some days it’s so hard to be brave’.
She added: ‘Thank you for teaching us how to love unconditionally, to always show courage and empathy, and how, even in the darkest of days, laughter is the greatest of gifts.
‘We are bereft without you but will hold so tight to each other. Your grace & your smile that lit up every room you were in, will light the stars to guide us.’
Zoe wrapped up her first breakfast show back on Monday by thanking travel presenter Richie Anderson for welcoming her back and for the ‘good gossip’.
‘Thanks very much for all the gorgeous messages everybody. It’s lovely to be back with you all,’ she said once more.

Australian singer Tones & I has revealed a whole new look, leaving fans reeling at her transformation.
The star, known for the 2019 record smashing hit Dance Monkey, has previously been known for wearing baggy clothes, caps, and very natural hair and makeup.
In a new Instagram post, the singer, 30, unveiled a glam new look, sporting a gown and coiffed hair, inviting an influx of shocked comments from fans and celebrity friends.
User @doyrabolves wrote: ‘So glad you got rid of the cap, sunnies and oversized clothes, you are beautiful and now so stylish.’
‘Hot, talented, beautiful, gorg etc etc,’ wrote singer Thelma Plum. Dannii Minogue also chimed in, calling the singer a ‘goddess.’
Many fans commented that they could barely even recognise the singer with her new look. User @royaksnes commented: ‘Ok, I have always loved this girl and have been around here since she released Dance Monkey, she was always gorgeous to me but wtf happened to her!!!!???😲🤯……I can barely recognise her!’
The singer, real name Toni Watson, broke a jaw dropping record in February when Dance Monkey passed 3 billion streams on Spotify, making her the first female artist in history to hit that number.
Tones recently revealed in an interview that insecurity previously prevented her from embracing her fame.
‘Honestly, I just think that when everything happened at the start of my career, people were just making so much out of nothing and mention my name was just something everyone did at a certain point in time, and I just hated that feeling,’ she said on Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne’s Life Uncut podcast.
She vulnerably continued: ‘It made me feel so disgusting and so like I didn’t like it. I wanted to stay underground and I felt dirty when people made up s**t about me and I felt gross.’
Tones went on to say that the sudden fame that came with her hit song also meant she was suddenly being scrutinised for her looks.
She said: ‘I was so out of my comfort zone, I looked like I just crawled out of the gutter. I didn’t have an aesthetic or a style, I was a chubby little girl from the street. You just put me up and then you just smash me so far down, like I didn’t have a say in anything.’
She continued: ‘With me specifically, people were so offended by how I looked that I started pre-empting what people would think before anything was even out. And I judged myself as harsh as I could so I was really prepared for all that criticism. Then it wasn’t a tactic anymore.
‘I started hating myself so badly that anything I did, I just couldn’t see a positive reaction to anything.’
Tones’ transformation comes just in time for her headlining Australian tour in August, following her stint as an opener for P!nk on her Australia and New Zealand tour earlier this year.

Actor Steve Buscemi has been pictured sporting a painful black eye after he was violently punched on the street in New York.
The Brooklyn native, 66, was walking through Kips Bay in Midtown Manhattan when he was approached in broad daylight and subsequently assaulted last week, according to sources.
Buscemi was reportedly covered in blood and his face was left swollen and battered following the assault and he sustained damage to his left eye.
The Fargo actor was taken to Bellevue Hospital to receive care for his injuries.
He has since been photographed for the first time since the attack, and was seen walking in Soho on Sunday – with visible bruising under his eye.
The Hollywood star was low-key for the outing, dressed in a black puffer vest underneath an unzipped bomber jacket, complete with dark trousers and trainers.
He kept his face hidden behind thick-rimmed glasses, and a black baseball cap.
According to police sources, the man who attacked Buscemi, in an alleged random act of violence, is still on the run.
In a statement to the New York Post, Buscemi’s publicist said: ‘Steve Buscemi was assaulted in Mid-Town Manhattan, another victim of a random act of violence in the city.
‘He is ok and appreciates everyone’s well wishes, though incredibly sad for everyone that this has happened to while also walking the streets of New York.’
The unprovoked attack took place around 11.48am on Wednesday in front of 369 Third Ave.
A witness, identified only as Nat, said: ‘I saw he was with a woman, and then through the corner of the window I saw him trip and fall backwards.
‘He right away got up and ran in the opposite direction. I didn’t see who hit him.
‘It worries me for when we close because we close at 11 and it can get scary around that time.’
While no arrests have been made in the case, the NYPD released an image of the assailant, a seemingly middle-aged man with a beard who was wearing a baseball cap, a blue t-shirt, and black sweatpants at the time of the attack.
Buscemi – who is known for the HBO series Boardwalk Empire as well as films like Reservoir Dogs, and Con Air – was not only born and raised in New York but became a local hero after he went to help in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks.
The former firefighter rejoined his fire company, Engine 55 and worked tirelessly as a part of the rescue efforts following the attack on the World Trade Center.
The attack on Buscemi comes just weeks after Buscemi’s Boardwalk Empire co-star, Michael Stuhlbarg, was injured in a similar random incident on the streets of the Big Apple.
Stuhlbarg was out walking in the city’s Upper East Side when he was attacked by a homeless man who was wielding a large rock. Stuhlbarg chased down the perpetrator, a 27 year old named Xavier Israel, and ensured he was taken into police custody.
